Xiaomi Automobile has unveiled its smart cockpit, now featuring the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 chip and powered by HyperOS technology. This innovative cockpit boasts a “central control ecological screen,” a “flip-type instrument screen,” a “HUD,” and a “rear row expansion screen.” It integrates a robust ecosystem, offering support for both Apple AirPlay and CarPlay.

Moreover, the Xiaomi Smart Cockpit dazzles with a 16.1-inch central control ecological screen, showcasing a 3K resolution, a 16:10 aspect ratio, and an astounding 91.7% screen-to-body ratio. This screen also features 1024-level dynamic dimming and offers interfaces for easy plug-and-play device support. Impressively, applications boot up in just 1.49 seconds, and you can upgrade the entire cockpit system in three minutes, with a full vehicle upgrade achievable in 30 minutes.

The central control screen of the new car is highly advanced. It features a 3D digital car model, mirroring the vehicle’s actual color configuration and adapting its background to sync with the external environment. Additionally, smooth transition animations enhance the experience when moving from outside to inside the car. The car also introduces a “flexible multi-tasking card layout” and a “quick menu,” promising a user experience consistent with smartphones and tablets.

The car-machine central control stands out with its “Miaoxiang Desktop,” facilitating seamless integration between mobile phones and the car machine. This feature allows for easily transferring various applications between devices, embodying Xiaomi’s philosophy of “seamless access to the car.”

When it comes to the HUD, the car impresses with a 56-inch display. It offers an ultra-wide 10 degrees x 3.6 degrees viewing angle, a high contrast ratio of 1500:1, and a bright virtual image of 13,000 nits. Focusing on the flip-up instrument screen, the car includes a 7.1-inch display that provides essential driving information. Every time the car starts, this feature celebrates its ceremonial feel.

Additionally, Lei Jun has highlighted the compatibility of the rear row of the Xiaomi SU7 with expansion devices such as Xiaomi Pad tablets. This feature supports up to 20 kilograms and seamlessly integrates with the car once you install the tablet. Lastly, Xiaomi’s CarIoT ecosystem not only fully integrates but also opens up to third-party developers, further supporting Apple system devices.
