Today, Nokia and the German company i.safe MOBILE GmbH unveiled the “IS540.2,” a new industrial mobile phone. This model serves as the successor to the “Nokia IS540.1,” distinguishing itself by not featuring the “Nokia” logo.
Nokia asserts that the phone encompasses all essential frequency bands and holds all necessary certifications, rendering it a viable option for global corporate use. Both this phone and its predecessor, the “Nokia IS540.1,” now form a part of the “Nokia Private Wireless Infrastructure,” included in Nokia’s “Subscription-as-a-Service” Digital Automation Cloud.
Additionally, IS540.2 offers dual SIM capabilities (Nano-SIM + eSIM), enables microSD expansion, features Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.2, and boasts IP68 dustproof and waterproof certification, satisfying a range of requirements for mobile phones in industrial settings.
