Xiaomi Motors SU7 Design New Leaks Revealed

Xiaomi vehicles have been consistently in high demand. Despite the absence of a physically manufactured Xiaomi Motors SU7, the fervent interest in searches remains unabated. Despite persistent speculation, Xiaomi announced its intention to develop an automobile over two years ago. The Tenna confirmed the official unveiling of the car’s design last month. Renowned photographer “Song Zihao,” known for capturing Xiaomi Motors’ “most aesthetically pleasing ID photos,” shared an article on Xiaohongshu, presenting a fresh perspective with several accompanying images. In contrast to the application drawing released by the Ministry last month, this set includes multiple angles, showcasing the car’s body sides.

The photographer emphasized the need to eliminate superfluous embellishments in the “ID photo,” aiming for a clean, transparent ambiance that captures the vehicle’s natural and authentic texture. Analyzing the recently published photos, the Xiaomi car exhibits a sleek and elegant curve in its side profile. Accentuated by yellow calipers, it exudes a sporty vibe. The Xiaomi Motors SU7 design exhibits simplicity, distinguishing itself from some emerging power brands that typically integrate a multitude of elements into their appearance. Notably, the car sparked controversy on Weibo earlier due to its resemblance to models such as the Porsche Taycan.

Optional features for Xiaomi cars include side fender logos, rear windshield logos, etc., rearview mirrors with various aesthetics, canopy glass, front windshields with diverse styles, lidar, differently-styled rims, and painted calipers. The “Founders Edition” model, as indicated by the wordmark on the side fenders and rear windshield glass, suggests a special launch edition.

Parameters

According to the available details, the dimensions of Xiaomi Motors SU7 are 4997mmx1963mmx1455mm, accompanied by a 3000mm wheelbase. The SU7 Max variant, on the other hand, displays measurements of 4997mmx1963mmx1440mm, maintaining an identical wheelbase. The former comes equipped with a lithium iron phosphate battery sourced from Xiangyang Fudi Battery Co., Ltd., showcasing a motor power of 220KW and reaching a top speed of 210 km/h. In contrast, the SU7 Max utilizes a CATL ternary lithium-ion battery, featuring dual front and rear motors with power ratings of 220KW and 275KW respectively, achieving a maximum speed of 265 km/h.

Reports suggest that the Xiaomi Automobile Conference is tentatively scheduled for December 28. Despite the official denial of detailed arrangements, indications point towards the likelihood of the official release approaching. The event is anticipated to take place at the end of this month.

Furthermore, at the beginning of this year, Xiaomi Automotive Technology Co., Ltd. unveiled a series of patents, encompassing “wearable devices and data processing methods for wearable devices” and “vehicle control methods, devices, electronic equipment, and storage media.” This foreshadows a future where Xiaomi cars seamlessly integrate with recently launched products like the Watch S3, linking with wearables for enhanced user experiences, allowing vehicle control and monitoring the driver’s physical condition.
