The Mate 60 series from Huawei has garnered significant consumer favor since hitting the market, establishing widespread popularity for all its models. To broaden access to this sought-after product, Huawei has introduced a subscription-based appointment model, enabling consumers to subscribe to the Mate 60 Pro model. In the latest update, Huawei Mall will initiate a 60-day pre-order subscription for the Mate 60 Pro starting at 12:08 p.m. today. The available configurations for reservation this time comprise the 12GB+512GB and 12GB+1TB variants, priced at 6,999 yuan (about $979) and 7,999 yuan (about $1119), respectively.
This strategic move implies a gradual restoration of the production capacity for the Mate 60 Pro, signaling its imminent full-scale launch for sale. According to Huawei’s announcement, once users successfully subscribe, the company will dispatch the products to them in a random order within the scheduled period. Essentially, after finalizing the purchase, users are exempt from participating in the frenzied buying process and need only patiently await the delivery of the goods.
Moreover, consumers retain the flexibility to cancel ordered products at any time, securing a full refund. It is important to note, however, that after canceling an order, one must initiate a new reservation and make a payment to participate in this activity again.
Furthermore, the official statement clarifies that for products of the same version and color (such as Mate 60 Pro 512GB Yachuan Blue), opting for the “60-day reservation subscription” method will not result in an earlier delivery time than the previous “90-day reservation” method.
