Apple Vision Pro to Be Released Soon, Apple Will Start Training Retail Employees in Mid-January

According to insights from Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple is gearing up for the imminent launch of its latest product, Vision Pro, initiating training sessions for retail staff commencing in mid-January. The price for this offering is $3,499.

Gurman disclosed that Apple has commenced summoning retail staff to its Cupertino, California headquarters for comprehensive training on the usage and promotion of Vision Pro. The program’s objective is to handpick representatives from each store, transport them to headquarters for training, and subsequently have them disseminate acquired knowledge and skills to their respective store teams. It’s worth noting that Apple had previously communicated to its employees that this training initiative would kick off in early 2024, coinciding with the Vision Pro launch.

Gurman went on to reveal that preparations for these training seminars are already underway, with the actual training slated to kick off in mid-January next year. Highlighting the intricate setup process for Vision Pro, Gurman emphasized Apple’s meticulous planning to avoid errors. The device’s customization to individual user needs and the potential impact on user experience if not properly installed necessitate a careful approach. This includes instructing retail staff on customer engagement and the correct method of donning the device on a user’s head.

Vision Pro, equipped with a micro-OLED screen that has 23 Megapixels and a single-eye resolution surpassing 4K, incorporates cloth-lined, modular earphone masks and straps. Apple asserts that these components can flexibly conform to diverse face and head shapes.

Users prefer buying Vision Pro in physical stores, although they can reserve it online. Additionally, Vision Pro is initially available only in the United States, and even for in-store purchases, advanced appointments are necessary.
