Xiaomi released the Redmi K70E, its new flagship phone, with powerful features and an affordable price. The three models come with 12GB+256GB, 12GB+512GB, and 16GB+1TB storage. Priced at 1999 yuan (about $280), 2199 yuan (about $310), and 2599 yuan (about $365). The planned 8GB+256GB version was canceled, but some produced units will be used as display models at Xiaomi Home.
Key features include the MediaTek Dimensity 8300-Ultra processor, HyperOS, and various high-end features. Lu Weibing mentioned the phone scored over 1.52 million points on the AnTuTu test. It features a 5000mm² stainless steel VC heat dissipation system for effective temperature control during high-load operation. For battery life, the Redmi K70 E has a 5500mAh battery with 90W fast charging, achieving excellent efficiency with a slim 8.05mm thickness. It introduces Xiaomi Starfish algorithm repairable battery technology, maintaining over 90% effective capacity after 1,000 heavy-duty cycles.
The display includes a second-gen 1.5K direct screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, PWM dimming up to 1920Hz, and peak brightness of 1800 nits. It has a 64MP main camera (OmniVision OV64B, OIS) + 8MP ultra-wide angle + 2MP macro on the rear, and a 16MP front lens. Additional features include NFC, infrared remote control, screen optical fingerprint, 0809 X-axis linear motor, and 1012+1216 stereo dual speakers.
