Today, Xiaomi is hosting the Redmi 10th Anniversary and K70 series mobile phone new product launch conference. During the event, they will officially unveil the Redmi K70 series. The Redmi K70E, in particular, will debut with the powerful Dimensity 8300-Ultra processor. Thailand’s NBTC has already certified the phone with the model number 2311DRK48G, and the Thailand version has been rebranded as the Poco X6 Pro.
It’s noteworthy that the Indian version of the Redmi K70E, identified by model number 2311DRK48I, has received BIS certification. On the other hand, the Chinese version carries the model number 2311DRK48C. Xiaomi and its sub-brands use different suffixes in global device model numbers, where “G” indicates global versions, “I” stands for India, and “C” stands for China.
Official reports reveal that the Redmi K70E features a 5500mAh battery and supports 90W fast charging technology. The phone has a slim body, measuring only 8.05mm in thickness. For the first time, the K70E will introduce Xiaomi’s Haixing algorithm battery repair technology. Officials claim that even after 1,000 heavy-load long cycles, the battery’s effective capacity will remain above 90%.
In addition to the advanced battery technology, the Redmi K70E boasts the Dimensity 8300-Ultra processor, a new generation AI flagship processor jointly customized by Redmi and MediaTek. This processor promises users smoother and more powerful functions. Alongside the processor launch, the Redmi K70E will also debut on the Dimensity platform Xiaomi HyperOS for the first time. Lu Weibing, in a previous revelation, mentioned that the K70E will also come equipped with Fury Engine 3.0, achieving an impressive score of more than 1.52 million points in the AnTuTu benchmark test.
