Recently, the Internet has exposed photos of the Redmi K70 series. The visible texture on the back complements a right-angled middle frame that seamlessly matches a micro-arc body. The official announcement has confirmed the new phone’s release date as November 29.
Examining the photos reveals textured designs for both the standard and Pro versions of the Redmi K70 series. Notably, the Black color and White color are evident in their appearance. The front features a centered single-hole straight screen with well-controlled screen borders.
Regarding the phone side design, both phones boast an aluminum alloy high-gloss middle frame. The connection between the back cover and the middle frame curves, promising a comfortable feel in hand. Upon closer inspection of the exposed pictures, the Redmi K70 and Pro versions exhibit minimal differences in appearance, but their configurations differ. The standard version houses the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, while the Pro version upgrades to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. Other configuration differences remain unknown at this time.
The Redmi K70 Pro was confirmed to feature the “Light Hunter 800” image sensor, supporting a 50MP 1/1.55-inch outsole. This sensor utilizes a 2.0μm pixel size and boasts a 13.2EV dynamic range. Moreover, the new phone comes with a CSOT 2K display, featuring the first C8 luminescent material. It achieves a peak brightness of 4000 units and supports 3840Hz PWM high-frequency dimming.
Notably, the Redmi K70 Pro introduces the high-quality “Lightning Snapshot” function, enabling single-frame high-dynamic capture with high-quality output. Equipped with a built-in acceleration engine, it speeds up the entire process from startup to imaging, ensuring the capture of every detail in the fastest moment. Simultaneously, the device debuts the “Night Owl Algorithm,” supporting an AI denoising function that seamlessly integrates software and hardware for an unprecedented evolution of night photography capabilities. The phone also houses a Xiaomi imaging brain and a self-developed RAW domain algorithm.
Introducing another variant, the Redmi K70E is the first to feature the Dimensity 8300-Ultra processor. It has a 5500mAh battery with 90W fast charging, all packed into a slim 8.05mm body. The phone features a 1.5K centered single-hole flexible straight screen and incorporates a smart charging engine to effectively extend battery life. Additionally, the Redmi K70E is the pioneer of the Xiaomi Starfish Algorithm, a technology claimed to repair battery health. After 1,000 heavy-load long cycles, it is asserted that the effective battery capacity can still be maintained at more than 90%.
