A few days ago, netizens exposed a road test video of Xiaomi SU7 on the Internet. The video shows that the Xiaomi SU7, undergoing road testing with camouflage stickers, closely aligns its overall body outline with the previously announced declaration drawing.
Reportedly, the car’s dimensions stand at 4997 mm in length, 1963 mm in width, and 1455 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3000 mm. Positioned as a C-class pure electric sedan, Xiaomi’s front face design is notably recognizable, showcasing a fastback shape and large five-spoke sports wheels.
Moreover, the car, as per prior declaration information, comes equipped with a liftable electric rear wing as a standard feature. It also offers customizable configurations like carbon fiber rearview mirrors, high-performance sports calipers, wheels, and more.
In the realm of intelligent assisted driving, the four-wheel drive model plans to integrate lidar to enhance support for higher levels of assisted driving. Xiaomi has currently finalized four versions of its cars, mirroring the categorization of mobile phones: a standard version, a Pro version, a Max version, and a track version (unavailable in batches). The price range for these versions spans between 190,000 and 300,000 yuan.
Recent developments, at the 2023 third-quarter results conference on the 20th, Lu Weibing, partner and president of Xiaomi Group, addressed the progress of Xiaomi Motors. He stated that the mass production target for the first half of next year remains unchanged. Additionally, a second winter test is scheduled for next year, with mass production slated to commence in six months.
