OPPO is set to hold a press conference unveiling its new flagship Reno11 series. Concurrently, the company will introduce other products, including the OPPO Pad Air 2, currently available for pre-sale.
This tablet, likely the OnePlus Pad Go initially launched in global markets, has a modest positioning. The revealed design features a matte back with a high-gloss color match, showcasing a large lens module at the center of the top housing an 8-megapixel rear camera. Additionally, an 8-megapixel front camera is integrated into the black border. OPPO emphasizes popularizing the flagship eye protection experience. The tablet boasts a 2.4K high-definition resolution screen, aimed at significantly reducing the jagged feeling of text.
Internally, OPPO Pad Air 2 will feature MediaTek’s Helio G99 eight-core processor, offering 8GB + 128GB / 256GB storage, with support for 1TB memory card expansion. The tablet integrates an 8000mAh battery and supports 33W fast charging. Furthermore, four speakers supporting Dolby Atmos equip the tablet. It also features Wi-Fi 5 + Bluetooth 5.2, with both WiFi and LTE versions available. While the price remains undisclosed, the previous generation started at 1,299 yuan (about $179).
