The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor release has prompted the scheduling of successive launches for various flagship Android devices. A tech blogger today leaked information revealing that Nubia plans to unveil the Z60 Ultra phone next month.
According to the blogger, the Nubia Z60 Ultra will continue to feature an under-display front camera design and a 35mm lens. Additionally, it has “upgraded even the ultra-wide-angle to the top configuration,” and its sensor specifications “currently rank as the largest in the industry,” supporting OIS optical image stabilization.

Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, the Nubia Z50 Ultra offers a maximum of 16GB RAM + 1TB ROM version. It is equipped with a 5000mAh battery and supports 80W fast charging. The rear triple camera setup includes a 64-megapixel primary camera (customized IMX787, 35mm focal length), a 64-megapixel secondary camera (OV64B sensor, 85mm focal length), and a 50-megapixel tertiary camera (S5KJN1 sensor and ultra-wide-angle and macro dual-use lens).
Previously, two new Nubia devices appeared in the GSMA IMEI database, with the Nubia Z60 Ultra codenamed NX721J and the Nubia Z60 Fold codenamed NX801J. Nubia intends to position the Nubia Z60 Ultra as a flagship with a flat design while anticipating that the Z60 Fold will be the brand’s first foldable screen phone, as indicated by the naming of these two products.
