DXOMARK today released the imaging test scores for the Huawei Mate 60 Pro+. The Mate 60 Pro+ secured the top spot on the DXOMARK global imaging rankings with a total score of 157. In individual categories, it scored as follows:

The test results, DXOMARK outlined the following strengths and weaknesses:
On the positive side, the Mate 60 Pro+ exhibits a wide dynamic range with accurate exposure in portraits and landscape photos. In most cases, the color reproduction is impressive. Additionally, the balance between texture/noise and detail is well-maintained in photos and zoom, with minimal noise. The autofocus is quick and accurate, and the video stabilization is quite effective. The variable aperture optimizes the depth of field for each scene, and the bokeh effect in portrait mode is commendable. The use of a 3.5x telephoto lens creates pleasing macro perspectives.
However, the Mate 60 Pro+ has some drawbacks, such as the loss of details in high-contrast and low-light videos, noise in motion videos in indoor and low-light conditions, and room for improvement in facial contrast and skin tone in challenging backlight situations. High-contrast scenes may exhibit clipping in bright areas, and artifacts like ghosting, hue shifts, or color quantization are present in both photos and videos.
