Xiaomi IoT Ecosystem Attracts Over 40% of Apple Phone Users

At the Xiaomi IoT Eco-Partner Summit held this morning in 2023, Xiaomi officially announced the 2023 Xiaomi IoT Eco-Partner Open Plan. In the afternoon sub-forum, Xiaomi revealed its smart ecosystem user composition, with over 40% of Xiaomi IoT Ecosystem users using Apple smartphones. Data indicates that Apple users have become a highly sticky group within the Xiaomi smart ecosystem, with Apple users owning more than 5 Xiaomi smart products constituting 45%.

Lu Weibing stated that Xiaomi has built the world’s largest consumer-grade IoT platform. According to the introduction, the Xiaomi IoT Ecosystem has connected devices reaching 655 million units, with over 13 million users having 5 or more Xiaomi IoT devices.

Furthermore, Xiaomi currently boasts over 9,000 IoT partners, connecting products across more than 200 categories. The Mi Home app has a monthly active user base of 82.9 million, while Xiaoai Assistant has over 110 million monthly active users.

Lu Weibing, the President of Xiaomi Group, announced that Xiaomi HyperOS has established a foundation for the future Internet with tens of billions of connections. Collaborating with partners, the company aims to construct the world’s largest ecosystem encompassing people, cars, and homes.

Meanwhile, Xiaomi is experiencing a surge in various sectors. According to the latest third-quarter report by Canalys, Xiaomi mobile phones secured a position in the top three globally, boasting a market share of 14.1%. Notably, it is the sole brand within the top three to exhibit positive growth. In Europe, Xiaomi achieved a remarkable market share of 23%.
