The Xiaomi 14 Pro has now received the HyperOS 1.0.23.11.4.DEV development version update, addressing numerous known issues. In addition, it introduces various improvements and new features.
In the system updates, it adds support for LHDC earphone connectivity and enhances the display of system animations. It also improves the stability of WLAN connections, screen display quality, call noise reduction performance, wallpaper display, and theme application effects. Moreover, it optimizes brightness adjustments for smoother control and fixes the issue of occasional voice reduction in certain call scenarios. Additionally, it resolves the occasional delay in Bluetooth device playback control and the issue of screen refresh rate not changing in some scenarios. It also fixes occasional wireless charging failures. The Freeform Window feature addresses the issue of abnormal displays when opening small window applications.

Xiaomi officially released the 14 Pro phone last month. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor powers the phone, and it is available in black, white, rock green, and titanium metal special edition colors. It features a 6.73-inch curved display with a peak brightness of 3000nit and a resolution of 3200*1440. The device is equipped with a 4880mAh battery and supports 120W wired fast charging along with 50W wireless fast charging. It has a 50MP Leica main camera, a 75mm floating telephoto lens, and a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens.
Furthermore, this new device debuts with Xiaomi’s HyperOS. It includes features like Xiao Ai input assistant, AI portrait, AI image search, real-time subtitles, and more. We have already pushed these features to development version users. We will conduct second-phase internal testing for upcoming features. It includes Xiaomi HyperMind, on-device Xiao Ai, text recognition, and on-device photo AI editing, with an expected rollout at the end of November.
