According to the supply chain information, the upcoming vivo X100 series will feature a brand new large battery developed in collaboration with Ningde New Energy.
Moreover, the report indicates that vivo and Ningde New Energy have embarked on a comprehensive partnership, starting from fundamental materials, chemical systems, and manufacturing processes, to create an entire “new energy supply system.”
This new battery achieves a balance between energy density and fast charging while enhancing “lithium-ion transmission efficiency.” It will debut in the vivo X100 series. The standard version of the vivo X100 will debut with the Dimensity 9300 processor and 16GB of LPDDR5T RAM, along with a centrally located single-hole curved screen featuring a 1.5K JD 8T substrate. It is also IP68 waterproof and dustproof.
In terms of imaging, the vivo X100 will incorporate the IMX9 main camera, the JN1 ultra-wide-angle lens, and the OV64B 3X periscope macro lens. As for the battery, the new device will be equipped with a battery capacity exceeding 5000mAh and will support 120W fast charging. In its design, the X100 features a centrally located large circular camera module with a rear quad-camera setup, and the iconic Zeiss blue logo placed at the center of the lenses.
