iQOO 12 Series Warmed Up: Capture Detail with The 1/1.3-inch Main Camera

The Vice President of the vivo brand, Jia Jingdong, warmed up the iQOO 12 series of smartphones. This series introduces a new design language, powers itself with OriginOS 4 featuring their in-house large-scale model, and equips itself with the first self-developed gaming chip, the Q1. It achieves image super-resolution and high frame rates through advanced concurrent processing.

Apart from its gaming performance, the iQOO 12 series has also significantly improved its imaging capabilities. It boasts a super large 1/1.3-inch main camera sensor with optical image stabilization and upgrades to the wide-angle and telephoto lenses. Unlike the imaging strategy of its parent brand, vivo, the iQOO12 series focuses more on extending the ethos of esports culture, emphasizing “fast pursuit and exploring the unknown,” aiming to provide stable capturing across various scenes and focal lengths.

In terms of design, the iQOO 12 series continues its tradition of collaborating with BMW by introducing the “Legendary Edition,” featuring an elliptical lens module design referred to as the “Endless Porthole.” This design draws inspiration from the cockpit of racing cars, giving the phone a sporty and powerful appearance. This design perpetuates the close connection between the iQOO brand and racing while showcasing the series’ esports characteristics.

The iQOO 12 series has already confirmed that it will be the first to power the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, which will undoubtedly further enhance its performance. However, the company has not yet announced the pricing information for this new device, and it is expected to reveal it during the official launch.
