The warm-up poster reveals that the Xiaomi 14 standard version model will utilize a 1.5K resolution screen with a pixel density of 460PPI. It will support a wide 1-120Hz LTPO refresh rate and incorporate a new, energy-efficient luminous material called C8. Furthermore, it will offer full DC dimming and carry the prestigious TÜV Rheinland triple certification.

As per reports, Xiaomi collaborated with TCL Huaxing to develop this exceptional screen, which has an ultra-high screen brightness of 3000nit, a wide viewing angle, and a 17% reduction in power consumption compared to its predecessor.

From previous teasers, we can gather that its standard version will feature a 6.36-inch screen with an ultra-narrow straight design and classic vertical edges. Additionally, it sports a rectangular camera module adorned with a Paris stud texture. Notably, the Xiaomi 14 series will introduce HyperOS and the innovative “Light and Shadow Hunter” sensor. The latter boasts an impressive 1/1.31-inch ultra-large base size, 1.2μm single pixels, and 2.4μm fused large pixels. It’s paired with a Leica Optical Summilux lens, and the entire series comes equipped with a 75mm floating telephoto lens.

During the 2023 Snapdragon Summit held earlier today, Lu Weibing made a significant announcement: Xiaomi 14 series mobile phones will feature the global launch of Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.
