The Xiaomi warm-up the Xiaomi TV S Pro 85 on Oct 24. They’ve already released the product page, but the price remains undisclosed. Earlier this month, Xiaomi TV S Pro launched two versions, the 65-inch and the 75-inch, at initial prices of 4,299 yuan (about $588) and 5,999 yuan (about $820), respectively. Given the 85-inch version’s larger screen and advanced Mini LED technology, it’s reasonable to assume that its price will exceed that of the previous versions.
In terms of configuration, the Xiaomi TV S Pro 85 has 1440-zone Mini LED technology, allowing precise brightness control for a distinct display effect. It has a peak brightness of 2400 nits, delivering a more delicate and realistic picture performance. Furthermore, the Mi TV S Pro 85 supports an ultra-high refresh rate of 4K 144Hz, ensuring smoother visuals.
Backlight partitioning significantly influences TV display quality. While the 65-inch and 75-inch Mi TV S Pro versions have 896 and 1152 backlight partitions, respectively, the 85-inch version surpasses them in this aspect. The exact number of backlight partitions is yet to be officially revealed. This high-zoning backlight design achieves more precise local dimming, enhancing picture contrast and detail performance for a superior visual experience.
Regarding the processor, the 65-inch and 75-inch Mi TV S Pro models feature a quad-core A73 processor, accompanied by 4GB of memory and 64GB of storage, ensuring smoother operation and faster application response. Additionally, they incorporate a range of powerful functions, such as a metal full-screen design, Wi-Fi 6, dual HDMI 2.1 interfaces, and an NFC remote control, offering users a more convenient and feature-rich experience.
Xiaomi will release the 85-inch TV S Pro version on October 26. Those interested should stay tuned for more updates.
