Xiaomi’s Smart Ecosystem announced a series of new products today through its official Weibo account, building anticipation for their debut on October 26th at 7 PM. To begin with, Xiaomi is launching its first batch of “Ultra-Thin Full-Embedded” Xiaomi home appliances, which include embedded washing machines, among other new products.
Xiaomi Announces First Batch of “Ultra-Thin” Home Appliances
According to the information provided, this marks the debut of Xiaomi’s first batch of “Ultra-Thin Full-Embedded” home appliances. The official poster showcases an “Ultra-Thin Full-Embedded Trio” comprising a refrigerator, air conditioner, and washing machine.
Based on the previous teaser, we can infer that the Xiaomi Refrigerator 521L Ultra-Thin Full-Embedded model and the Xiaomi Central Air Conditioner Duct Machine with 3HP, both of which Xiaomi gradually unveiled between September and October, will be part of the lineup. The washing machine, which emphasizes its “Ultra-Thin Full-Embedded” feature, will officially debut on October 26th.
The Xiaomi Central Air Conditioner Duct Machine boasts an ultra-slim body, measuring just 200mm, making it naturally blend into various home decors. It is equipped with Xiaomi’s intelligent control engine, enabling seamless whole-house smart connectivity through voice commands and app control. Meanwhile, the Xiaomi Refrigerator 521L Ultra-Thin Full-Embedded version features a “True Embedding” design with a space of less than 5mm on both sides. It also incorporates a brand-new thin-wall technology, claiming to offer more significant capacity in a smaller footprint.
The Xiaomi Refrigerator 521L Ultra-Thin Full-Embedded model became available for pre-order on September 21st, with a final price of 3499 yuan (about $479). The Xiaomi Central Air Conditioner Duct Machine with 3HP, on the other hand, started sales on October 18th at a price of 5999 yuan (about $820). Currently, the air conditioner is available for pre-order with a deposit on the Xiaomi and JD.com online stores and will open for final payments tonight at 8 PM.
