Recently, the Redmi product team at Xiaomi shared the protection test results for the Redmi Note 13 Pro+. They subjected the phone to tests for protection against high-temperature and high-pressure water jets, achieving an IP69 rating, signifying its ability to maintain excellent water resistance in extreme environments.
The IP waterproof rating is an international standard that assesses the resistance of electronic devices to external water exposure. In various testing levels, higher numbers indicate greater water resistance. Notably, IPX9 stands as one of the highest test standards within the IP69 category.
The blogger posted a test report indicating that the Redmi Note13Pro prototype successfully passed the IPX9 waterproof test in a test environment with a temperature of 24.7℃, relative humidity of 57.0%, and atmospheric pressure ranging from 86kPa to 106kPa.
Furthermore, public information reveals that the full name of the IP protection level is International Protection Marking. This marking serves to demonstrate the shell’s ability to protect electrical equipment from foreign matter intrusion, including dust and liquids. It stands as a fundamental and crucial indicator for electronic equipment.
Redmi Note 13 Pro+ boasts the powerful Dimensity 7200 Ultra chipset, featuring a 6.67-inch 1.5K high-gloss eye protection screen. Additionally, the phone is equipped with a 5000mAh battery and 120W fast charging technology. It also houses a remarkable 200-megapixel ultra-clear main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel macro lens.
The test results unequivocally demonstrate that the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ maintains exceptional protection performance even under the most extreme conditions, ensuring users a more dependable experience.
