iQOO 12 Series Supports UFCS Integrated Fast Charging

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen3 is scheduled to launch at the end of October. This has prompted various Android manufacturers to include new flagship phones in their upcoming releases. On the afternoon of October 18, digital blogger @digitalchatstation unveiled iQOO’s official introduction of the iQOO 12 series online, suggesting that the new phone’s release may be imminent.

The blogger announced that this time, the new phones entering the network include the iQOO 12 and iQOO 12 Pro. The former has a 4880mAh battery that supports 120W wired fast charging. The latter comes with a 4980mAh battery, offering 120W wired fast charging and 50W wireless flash charging. It’s worth noting that the entire iQOO 12 series supports UFCS-integrated fast charging, although the Pro version lacks the 200W flash charging. Nevertheless, even without 200W fast charging, the support of 120W fast charging ensures that the phone’s charging speed can meet the needs of most users.

Previous leaks suggest that the iQOO 12 series will maintain a 2K screen, bring improvements in eye protection, and offer a higher refresh rate. One of the early adopters of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen3 mobile platform, it will feature the self-developed V3 chip. This chip uses 6nm process technology, representing the third generation. The overall user experience is significantly better than the previous V2 chip. In terms of photography, the series will include a 64-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and optical image stabilization.

The iQOO 12 series flagship could see a November unveiling and release. Previous reports suggest it will follow the launch of the vivo X100.
