On the evening of October 12, Honor hosted a new product launch conference and unveiled its latest folding-screen mobile phone, the Honor Magic Vs2.
The 12GB+256GB version of this new phone is priced at 6,999 yuan (about $959) by the company. In contrast, the 16GB+512GB version carries a price tag of 7,699 yuan (about $1055). Today, October 17, at 10:08 a.m., the first sale of the Honor Magic Vs2 commenced. Interested individuals should not miss this opportunity to explore this device.
In terms of performance, the Honor Magic Vs2 has the first-generation Snapdragon 8+ mobile platform and runs the MagicOS 7.2 system, delivering a long-lasting, smooth, and stable experience for up to 50 months.
Magic Vs2 offers three colors, including glacier blue and velvet black, crafted using fine velvet sand and feather fiber technology to create a velvety texture. Coral purple features PU plain leather, offering a delicate and warm feel with an elegant and refined appearance. Additionally, the device features a wrap-around multi-curved symmetrical body design, providing an attractive look and feel.
It’s worth noting that the Magic Vs2 takes a significant step towards thinness and lightness by incorporating aerospace-grade ultra-light rare earth magnesium alloy, resulting in a 33% reduction in material density. The entire device weighs only 229g and utilizes the Honor Luban titanium hinge for a seamless design. Furthermore, the device houses a sizable 5,000 mAh battery, ensuring impressive battery life.
The Honor Magic Vs2 boasts a 6.43-inch 2376×1060 OLED screen for the external display and a 7.92-inch 2272×1984 OLED screen for the internal screen. Both screens support a 120Hz refresh rate (1-120Hz LTPO) and 3840Hz ultra-high-frequency PWM zero-risk dimming.
