Vivo is planning to launch the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro, a new foldable smartphone, in the near future. This device has recently surfaced in the GSMA IMEI database, sparking widespread speculation.
The GSMA IMEI database indicates that Vivo hasn’t disclosed specific technical specifications for the exciting new model, the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro. People are expecting significant improvements compared to its predecessor, the Vivo X Fold2. The model number, V2337A, in the GSMA IMEI database, confirms the device’s existence and piques curiosity.
There have been rumors suggesting that the Vivo X Fold3 Pro might hit the market in the first quarter of 2024. However, this information hasn’t received official confirmation, and the precise release date awaits further official announcements. Nevertheless, the fact that it’s already listed in the GSMA IMEI database suggests that this highly anticipated product is not too far off.
The Vivo X Fold2, released in April this year, boasts impressive specifications. It features the second-generation Snapdragon 8 mobile platform and the self-developed V2 chip, delivering outstanding performance with a benchmark score of 1.34 million points in the AnTuTu benchmark. It not only serves as a folding screen phone but also holds the top spot among Android phones in its category. The device comes with an 8.03-inch internal screen supporting peak brightness up to 1800 nits and PWM dimming.
Additionally, it sports an OLED external screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1,600 nits, a 50-megapixel VCS bionic spectrum outsole main camera, a built-in battery with a capacity equivalent to 4,800 mAh, and supports 120W fast charging as well as 50W wireless charging. Pricing for the Vivo X Fold2 starts at 8999 yuan ($1250).
