Xiaomi Mall recently concluded its crowdfunding campaign for the first Mijia 3D printer. Now, it has transitioned to regular sales. The initial price stands at 1,899 yuan (about $259), which represents a 200 yuan(about $27) increase from the crowdfunding period.
This 3D printer, designed for entry-level users, employs an integrated design that combines 3D printing and reinforcement. It requires no assembly, offering a plug-and-play experience without the need for additional secondary curing equipment. Being a Mijia product, it boasts smart features and can be operated through the dedicated app.
One standout feature of the Mijia 3D printer is its support for printing custom models. Users can upload their models to the Mijia 3D Printing Creator Center and initiate the printing process via the app. Furthermore, this 3D printer enhances the single-layer curing system and features a specially customized LCD high-definition light-transmitting screen. It also incorporates patented automatic feeding and return mechanisms.
Equipped with highly stable and high-precision Z-axis single-line guide rails and customized high-power motors, the official claim is that “printing is more stable, capable of handling complex models effortlessly, and restoring vivid details.” Additionally, the Mijia 3D printer utilizes washable and environmentally friendly resin, eliminating the need for alcohol cleaning after printing. It includes an independent material box warehouse for swift material replacement.
While this printer might come at a slightly higher price point and lower configuration compared to options for experienced users, it provides a worry-free experience for newcomers and users seeking to print accessories and models without complications.
