Xiaomi has introduced its Redmi Projector 2 series, including both the Redmi Projector 2 and Redmi Projector 2 Pro, available for pre-sale starting at 8 o’clock tonight, priced at 999 yuan (about $137) and 1,399 yuan (about $192) respectively.
The Redmi Projector 2 comes in two colors: green and sand. It has a measured brightness of 180CVIA lumens and incorporates a self-developed omnidirectional correction AI algorithm along with a zoom motor for automatic focus adjustment upon startup.

Additionally, the projector uses a fully sealed custom-made optical engine paired with a high-definition super-transparent lens, offering a lifespan of up to 10 years. The resolution is 1080P, and the projection ratio is 1.2:1, enabling it to project a 100-inch screen even in limited spaces. It has built-in dual speakers and collaboration with WANOS China Atmos virtual sound field encoding technology for an enhanced audio experience.
On the other hand, the Redmi Projector 2 Pro also incorporates a fully sealed self-polishing machine, increasing light efficiency utilization by 50% for a brighter display. Equipped with a customized aspherical lens, it delivers clearer picture quality. Furthermore, the SGS authoritative organization has tested and certified it, resulting in a brightness level of 300CVIA lumens, a 1080P resolution, and a throw ratio of 1.2:1.
This projector uses a professionally customized TOF laser sensing module in combination with a high-definition camera and AI algorithm, allowing for faster and more precise screen adjustments. A six-axis gyroscope complements the adaptive screen system, ensuring swift and accurate corrections without requiring the use of correction adjustment auxiliary screens.
Both projectors support the Mijia APP, enabling integration with smart lighting, curtains, and other home devices. When you activate movie viewing mode, it automatically dims the lights and curtains, providing a cinematic experience.
Controlling your content is easy with the remote control, allowing for on-demand listening and voice-controlled fast forwarding and selection. No manual operation is necessary, simplifying the experience. Furthermore, an Amlogic T950D4 chip equips the projectors, and they boast a storage specification of 1.5GB+32GB, guaranteeing smoother performance for watching movies, TV series, and playing games.
