Xiaomi is currently testing MIUI 15, which is based on Android 14. In the first week of November, Xiaomi plans to launch the Xiaomi 14 series models in China. This development highlights Xiaomi’s commitment to enhancing its mobile operating system.
Xiaomi 14 With MIUI 15
The relevant code indicates that Xiaomi is actively promoting the development of MIUI 15. The latest internal version numbers are MIUI-V15.0.0.1.UNCEUXM, MIUI-V15.0.0.1.UNBEUXM marks the completion of the MIUI 15 development process. Xiaomi14 series will consist of two models: Xiaomi 14, codenamed “houji,” and Xiaomi14 Pro, codenamed “shennong.” These two new phones will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, expected to debut by the end of October.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor has appeared in the GeekBench benchmark library, featured in Nubia’s new device. This processor features an eight-core design with different clock speeds. In GeekBench version 5.4.1, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 achieved specific benchmark scores.
Previous reports suggest that the standard Xiaomi 14 will have a straight screen with a right-angled middle frame design, while the Pro version will have a curved screen and a right-angled middle frame design. Both models will offer glossy body variants. In terms of camera configuration, they will include a 50-megapixel circular triple camera with a square camera Deco. Additionally, a large circular dual-color temperature flash will be positioned in the upper right corner, and the lens label information will be situated in the middle of the Deco.
Aside from Xiaomi’s classic models, there may be a new addition this year, the “Xiaomi14 Pro+,” codenamed “Aurora.” This model, along with the Xiaomi 14 Pro, is expected to cater to a broader audience. A digital blogger has revealed that the “big cup” variant of the Xiaomi 14 series will introduce a titanium alloy version, a design feature also present in Apple’s iPhone 15 series.
Xiaomi’s active promotion of mobile operating system updates and optimization has reached another milestone with the testing of MIUI 15 based on Android 14. The upcoming release of the Xiaomi 14 series models in November represents a significant step forward for Xiaomi in the competitive mobile phone market.
