The Huawei Mate X5 has made a triumphant return, rejoining the “Pioneer Project” on September 8th, and its official price and full launch have been announced. This new folding screen flagship phone is now available in three configurations: 12+256GB priced at 12,999 yuan (about $1786),12GB+512GB, and 16GB+512GB, priced at 13,999 yuan (about $1924), and 14,999 yuan (about $2061), respectively. Additionally, Huawei Care+ offers a one-year service that allows for cost-effective replacement of the inner and outer screens at just 999 yuan (about $137).

The Huawei Mate X5 has five vibrant colors: Phantom Purple, Feather Black, Feather White, Feather Gold, and Qingshan Black. The phone features a remarkable brightness adjustment range of 1-1800nits and supports a flexible 1-120Hz LTPO adaptive refresh rate screen for both the inner and outer displays.
The Kirin 9000S processor powers the Huawei Mate X5, along with a powerful 50-megapixel super-sensing camera, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 12-megapixel periscope telephoto camera. Notably, it also offers IPX8 water resistance. The battery capacity stands at 5060mAh, and it supports lightning-fast charging with 66W wired and 50W wireless capabilities, as well as convenient 7.5W wireless reverse charging.
