DJI Innovations recently released a new drone product, DJI Mini 4 Pro. This drone marks a full upgrade from the Mini 3 Pro, which was released last year, and it introduces stronger safety features and enhanced functionality.
In terms of appearance, DJI Mini 4 Pro maintains the foldable wing design, resulting in a compact overall shape. Compared to the Mini 3 Pro, the new drone features a more rounded head sensor that protrudes directly from the casing, offering greater potential for improving the obstacle avoidance function. Notably, despite these feature enhancements, the DJI Mini 4 Pro retains its weight below 249 grams and maintains the same 34-minute battery life as its predecessor.
Speaking of safety, DJI Mini 4 Pro has undergone a significant upgrade with omni-directional active obstacle avoidance. In contrast to the Mini 3 Pro’s front, rear, and downward obstacle avoidance, this drone boasts a more comprehensive obstacle avoidance capability. According to media reports, the new drone also supports various functions, including waypoint flying, focus tracking, and time-lapse photography, further enhancing the user’s flying experience.
When it comes to video shooting capabilities, DJI Mini4 Pro has taken a leap forward, upgrading its video capabilities to 4K/100FPS, providing users with a superior video shooting experience. Simultaneously, the drone still supports the capture of 48-megapixel still photos, catering to users’ demands for high-quality images.
Regarding image transmission, the DJI Mini 4 Pro’s upgrade is significant. The new drone has extended the image transmission distance to an impressive 20 kilometers, offering users a more extensive space for exploration compared to the previous generation’s maximum image transmission distance of 12 kilometers.
