The fourth entry in Samsung’s Galaxy S23 series, the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE, has made its appearance on various official databases and secured multiple certifications. Notably, it has obtained certification from Thailand’s NBTC, and its anticipated release is slated for the fourth quarter of 2023.
The NBTC certification recently awarded to Samsung’s Galaxy S23 FE reveals that the device bears the model number SM-S711B/DS, with the certification number B38450-23 recorded in the database under the same model name. Furthermore, the certification includes platform specifications, identifying the mobile phone as a 5G-capable device compatible with 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G networks.
Once released, the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE will run on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and Exynos 2200 chipsets. Moreover, it will offer users varying memory and storage configurations, with up to 12GB of RAM and a maximum of 256GB of internal storage. Additionally, there are rumors suggesting that the device will operate on One UI 5.1.1, which is based on the foundation of Android 13. It has a 6.4-inch Dynamic AMOLED panel with an FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
As for its camera setup, the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE may sport a triple-camera configuration, comprising a primary 50-megapixel camera with optical image stabilization, an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera, and a 12-megapixel telephoto camera. Anticipated to have a 4500 mAh battery, the device is likely to support wired fast charging at 25 watts and wireless fast charging at 15 watts.
