Zhang Yu, the marketing manager for Xiaomi Redmi mobile phones, made an announcement today regarding the full deployment of the MIUI screenshot function with shell. This enhancement now encompasses many Xiaomi and Redmi mobile phones spanning the last three years. Users can readily access this update by navigating to the Xiaomi App Store.
Once users capture screenshots on their Xiaomi and Redmi mobile devices, they can utilize the “Case With Case” feature above. This convenient function allows them to seamlessly apply a corresponding mobile phone case model with a single click, eliminating the need to resort to external applications or manual procedures.
Nonetheless, it’s worth noting that the MIUI screenshot function with shell generates images without any surrounding margins, causing the phone case to adhere to the frame directly. Zhang Yu shared a workaround by suggesting users take an additional screenshot within the shell interface, thereby enabling the addition of white borders manually.
Some users within the comment section also inquired about the potential for an automated inclusion of white borders. Zhang Yu responded by indicating that he lacks the bandwidth for such a task and will explore the possibility of incorporating this feature with the assistance of the product manager in the future.
