AYANEO has officially announced the upcoming Android handheld, the Pocket Air conference, scheduled for August 30th. In line with previous information, this gaming console comes equipped with the Dimensity 1200 chip and features a 5.5-inch OLED screen. Sporting a retro red and white color scheme, the console’s body measures a mere 17mm in thickness and weighs approximately 380g.
Significantly, this handheld device showcases Hall joystick and Hall trigger mechanisms, while incorporating the SoundTapMagic sound vibration system. What truly sets the Pocket AIR apart, however, is its inclusion of an X-axis linear motor, an expansive 7350mAh battery, and an X86-level active cooling system.
The AYANEO Pocket AIR introduces its own custom-designed desktop Launcher, named AYAHome. This launcher houses the AYASpace App and is divided into five distinct sections: “Focus,” “Library,” “Moment,” “Settings,” and “Personal Center.” Within these sections, players can effortlessly locate their preferred games and access in-depth game details, alongside engaging cultural content linked to the games.
Additionally, the platform offers comprehensive and user-friendly management tools. Moreover, the official platform grants access to an exclusive, extensive cloud-based retro game database. This database employs in-house developed algorithms to rapidly and automatically match game information with local resources, encompassing cover art, descriptions, videos, and other pertinent details.
