The benchmark platform AnTuTu recently discovered a new mobile phone model “V2314A” in the background, possibly the iQOO Z8. This new contender achieved a score of 970,000 on AnTuTu V10’s 12+512GB variant. It is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 processor, accompanied by 12GB of RAM and 512GB of flash memory, along with a 5000mAh battery. These specifications position the iQOO Z8 favorably in its market segment.
In terms of performance, the iQOO Z8 achieved a total score of 972,222 on AnTuTu’s V10 evaluation. This included 286,473 points for the CPU, 240,807 points for the GPU, 221,449 points for MEM, and 223,493 points for UX. AnTuTu confirmed that this model has the highest running score among Dimensity 8200 devices, surpassing its predecessors.
iQOO Z8 Features
The Dimensity 8200 chipset is built on TSMC’s 4nm process and features an octa-core CPU with four A78 performance cores and four A55 energy-efficient cores. The primary core operates at 3.1GHz, while the remaining cores run at 2.85GHz. The Mali-G610 GPU shows an 8% performance increase, and the AI processor APU 580 demonstrates a 13% performance surge. MTK says the Dimensity 8200 chip supports 120fps multiplayer, and 90fps action RPGs.
Regarding the iQOO Z8’s configuration, a prominent digital blogger revealed that its front features a 6.64-inch LCD screen with a 2388×1080 resolution. OLED screens are becoming more common in new releases from various manufacturers.
The iQOO Z8 comes with memory options of 8GB and 12GB, powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 processor. The product runs on the OriginOS 3.0 OS, which underwent enhancements for system fluidity. This included improving computing, storage, and display capabilities. OriginOS 3.0 introduces algorithms like app grouping and data compression, while Memory Fusion 3.0 extends memory expansion by up to 8GB.
In terms of battery and charging, the iQOO Z8 features a 5000mAh battery and supports 120W rapid charging. The smartphone includes a 16MP front camera, a 64MP main rear camera with OIS, and a 2MP auxiliary lens. Industry insiders view the iQOO Z8 series as a continuation of the brand’s LCD screen and strong battery tradition. Anticipation is building for the official release date and pricing.
