Xiaomi has introduced the second iteration of the Xiaomi Mijia Hair Clipper, known as the Mijia Hair Clipper 2. Originally priced at 149 yuan ($20.65), the initial launch is set at a reduced rate of 139 yuan ($19.26). Pre-sale for this product is scheduled to commence at 10 am on August 11.
The Mijia Hair Clipper 2 showcases notable upgrades, featuring an enhanced all-metal fixed blade. The blade has a dual-layer obsidian black coating, ensuring precise and sharp shaving capabilities. Additionally, the device comes equipped with a digital power display.
This new iteration has a more refined obsidian blade head and a powder metallurgy fixed blade. The fixed blade is considerably more durable through vacuum-plated DLC and graphite double coatings, effectively reducing heat generation during friction and minimizing any discomfort on the scalp.
The clipper’s blade head offers five stages of refinement, which harmonize seamlessly with the 14 available fixed-length combs. This combination guarantees the creation of a well-groomed hairstyle tailored to your preferences. The accompanying comb provides flexibility, allowing adjustments in 2mm increments per step.
Furthermore, the device has an intelligent constant pressure system, ensuring consistent operation for a smooth and efficient shave. It accomplishes quick shaving to minimize frizz.
