HarmonyOS 4 and Xiaomi MIUI 15 to Launch in August

Renowned digital bloggers have hinted that smartphone manufacturers, including Huawei, OPPO, vivo, and Xiaomi, are gearing up to launch their new operating system versions in August. Among them, Huawei’s HarmonyOS 4 is set to make its official debut on August 4. Despite the efforts made by manufacturers to maintain confidentiality, detailed information about these systems remains scarce.

As its promotional slogan suggests, the upcoming HarmonyOS 4 from Huawei aims to provide a personalized, highly engaging, and novel user experience. The system’s design is expected to enhance its playability and enable seamless multi-device connectivity.

Meanwhile, OPPO’s ColorOS 14 is rumored to feature a specialized Fold system for folding screen phones. The new version will also introduce a “Recent Files in Sidebar” function, acting as a convenient file transfer station, supporting drag-and-drop sharing of various files and fostering better interconnection between applications and devices.

Xiaomi’s MIUI 15 development version was spotted on their server. It’s currently being tested on the new Redmi Note 13. The launch is expected to coincide with Xiaomi’s flagship Mi 14 series. As for Vivo’s OriginOS 4, there haven’t been any reliable leaks yet. However, the new version is expected to retain the current design style while introducing improvements to system functions.

Interestingly, based on current reports, the Huawei Mate50 series will likely be the next flagship model among the four manufacturers. The Huawei Mate60 series is anticipated to be released between mid-September and mid-October, with potential consumer surprises.

However, the release dates of the new system versions for Xiaomi, OPPO, and vivo have not been officially announced. Stay tuned for follow-up coverage on Gizcoupon for the latest news.
