International technology media recently reported that Vivo is preparing to release the global version of the highly-anticipated Vivo X100 5G in the fourth quarter of this year. Excitingly, detailed specifications of this phone have been leaked.
The upcoming Vivo X100 5G will feature the Dimensity 9300 processor. It will have a unique architecture with a super large core, a large core, and a small core. The super large core is believed to be based on the powerful Cortex-X4, while the large core might be Cortex-A715, and the small core possibly Cortex-A515. This processor is set to debut in the second half of this year, directly competing with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 flagship mobile processor, also launching at the same time.
Regarding the vivo X100 5G, The camera setup now includes a variable aperture supply chain, with the main camera featuring a 1-inch outsole design, supporting optical image stabilization. A larger bottom periscope telephoto lens is also introduced, offering 5x optical zoom and an impressive 120x digital zoom capability. The imaging algorithm has been significantly upgraded, making the overall imaging effect more enhanced.
The phone will feature an adaptive AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. The Vivo X100 5G will run on the Android 14 operating system. Additionally, the device will offer 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage capacity.
Thanks to its built-in 5000mAh large-capacity battery. Furthermore, the device will support an impressive 100W fast charging technology, allowing for rapid charging. The phone will be available in three color options: black, purple, and white.
