On June 29th, Gizcoupon reported that the Honor X50 is set to be unveiled on July 5th at 19:30 (Beijing time). After a decade of development, Honor has referred to it as the pinnacle of the X series. Currently, the appearance and some of the specifications of the phone have been exposed.
Honor X50 Specifications
As revealed by digital blogger @数码闲聊站, the Honor X50 features a 1.5K eye-friendly curved display with a resolution of 2652*1200p. Furthermore, it has a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 5G processor, offering 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage space. The phone also boasts a primary rear camera with a resolution of 100 million pixels and a built-in 5800mAh large battery.
From the leaked posters, the Honor X50 continues to adopt a circular camera module. It will be available in at least three colors: orange, silver, and light blue (please note that the official names of the color variants have not been disclosed yet). The new device appears to have a slim and lightweight design. The aforementioned blogger previously leaked that the thickness of the Honor X50 measures 7.98mm, with a weight of 185g.
According to a previous report by Gizcoupon, the Honor X50 has already obtained the Chinese national quality certification. The phone supports up to 35W fast charging.
As for the pricing of this new device, we can refer to the Honor X40 released last year. That phone featured a Snapdragon 695 processor and a 6.67-inch 2400×1080 OLED curved display with a centered punch-hole design. It also housed a 5100mAh battery and supported 40W fast charging. The primary rear camera had a resolution of 50 million pixels.
