In Preparation For The “Cage Fight” With Zuckerberg, Musk Has Begun to Practice Fighting

On June 28th, Gizcoupon reported that it remains uncertain whether the anticipated “showdown” between tech giants Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg will become a reality. However, the former appears to be taking the matter seriously.

Last weekend, UFC Hall of Fame member Georges St-Pierre expressed himself as a devoted fan of Musk. Furthermore, he voluntarily offered to be Musk’s “training partner.” On Tuesday, Musk responded to his proposal, stating, “Alright, let’s do it,” accompanied by two flame emojis.

In the same context, Musk also revealed that he engaged in a “practice match” with Lex Friedman, a research scientist at MIT and podcast host. Today, Friedman shared two photos of himself practicing combat with Musk, stating, “Yesterday, I had an impromptu training session with [Musk] that lasted for hours. His standing and ground power, explosiveness, and technique impress me. It’s inspiring to see Musk and Zuckerberg practicing martial arts. However, I believe it would benefit the world more if they focused on martial arts practice rather than fighting in the cage. Nonetheless, as Musk said, the most entertaining outcome is also the most likely to occur… Either way, I’ll support them.”

Friedman’s Impression and Support for Musk and Zuckerberg

Just two days ago, Friedman also posted a video of himself practicing jiu-jitsu with Zuckerberg. The caption read, “Here’s an exciting video of Mark Zuckerberg and me training jiu-jitsu. I’m also looking forward to training with Musk. It’s inspiring to see both Elon and Mark embrace the path of martial arts.”

Gizcoupon previously reported that Zuckerberg had achieved some proficiency in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and recently won his first wrestling match. He has a strong fascination with MMA and frequently attends multiple events hosted by the UFC at Apex or other venues. On the other hand, Musk’s level of MMA skills remains a mystery.

Although Musk’s mother seemingly hinted at the cancellation of this fight earlier, UFC President Dana White later clarified, stating, “I talked to Elon and Mark last night (Wednesday), and both of them are taking this matter very seriously.” He is striving to make this unprecedented matchup happen, although it is currently unclear whether any athletic commission would approve such a contest.
