On June 15th, Gizcoupon reported that QCY had released a new 65W GaN charger. The new charger is now available for purchase on various e-commerce platforms.
The 65W GaN charger comes in two color options, black and white. It is identified by the model number QCY-GN203GB. It weighs approximately 89g. With its square-shaped design, the charger has a wall plug that ensures a secure fit and minimizes the risk of detachment. Additionally, it features foldable prongs to prevent scratches on other devices.

This new charger features a 1C1A dual USB fast charging interface that supports the most common wire types currently available. According to the official statement, when using USB-C alone, it is able to provide fast charging of up to 65W. They claim that USB-C can charge the iPhone 14 Pro Max up to 54% in just 30 minutes, while the Xiaomi 13 Pro can reach a charge of 48%.
The charger supports voltages in the 100-240V range. When used independently, the USB-C port delivers an output power of 65W, while the USB-A port supports 18W fast charging. Moreover, when both ports are simultaneously used. The power distribution is set at 45W for USB-C and 12W for USB-A (C+A).
Furthermore, the fast charging protocols supported by the new charger include PD, QC, SCP, FCP, Apple 2.4A, AFC, and PE 2.0. It is also compatible with the majority of digital devices that support fast charging.
