Lenovo Will Launch YOGA 5000s Smart Projector: Using A Custom Light Machine, You Can Watch TV Normally During The Day

On May 16th, Gizcoupon reported that Lenovo Yoga warmed up for a new smart projector called the Yoga 5000s. However, its pricing, release date, and detailed specifications have not been disclosed yet.

Based on the official warmed-up content, this projector is marketed as “small and compact” with “high brightness,” claiming to be a portable home theater. The machine is said to be extremely small and can be held in one hand. Additionally, it uses Lenovo’s customized optics. It can project in both bright daylight and dimly lit environments.

Lenovo has already released the Yoga 5000 and Yoga 7000 smart projectors, with the latter currently selling for around $703. It is expected that the YOGA 5000s will be an upgraded version of the Yoga 5000.

Currently, there is no detailed information available about the specifications of the Lenovo YOGA 5000s. As a reference, Gizcoupon has found the specifications of the previous generation Yoga 5000. That projector used 4+64GB storage with no advertisements. It had a 0.33″ DMD, 1080P high-definition resolution, and 1500 ANSI full-time brightness. It supported HDR10+ and adaptive display, including laser autofocus and four-axis trapezoidal correction. Moreover, it also came with Vifa cinema-level sound and supported dual sound effects of Dolby and DTS. We expect the YOGA 5000s to be even more powerful.
