Gizcoupon reported on May 14th that OPPO announced the termination of its ZEKU business, and multiple sources confirmed that OPPO had abandoned its self-developed chip. Currently, OPPO has released two MariSilicon chip products – MariSilicon X/Y.
Gizcoupon’s investigation found that OPPO official website has taken down the relevant introduction pages for MariSilicon X/Y, with a 404 error message displayed(the page does not exist) when attempting to access them.

According to the Science and Technology Innovation Board Daily, ZEKU Technology has issued an internal memo stating that the company has made a shareholder decision to dissolve ZEKU Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., its wholly-owned subsidiaries, and branches from May 12, 2023, Beijing time, and terminate all labor contracts. The memo further stated that fresh graduates who have not yet reported for duty, they can choose to join other departments within OPPO or accept an “N+3” compensation package.
