Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 Specification Exposed: 7.6-inch Inner Screen, 6.2-inch Outer Screen, 50 Million Main Camera

According to Gizcoupon’s report on May 9th, @Gadgetsdata, a source of information, shared specifications for the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 foldable phone.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 weighs 250 grams, which is 13 grams lighter than the Z Fold 4. When folded, it has a thickness of 13.4mm, which is slightly smaller than the Fold 4’s 14.2mm.

The new drop-shaped hinge eliminates gaps when closed. The outer screen measures 6.2 inches, and the inner screen measures 7.6 inches. Both support a 120Hz refresh rate, and the screen material is AMOLED.

It is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy chip. There are three cameras on the back of the phone, including a 50-megapixel main camera with optical stabilization, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 10-megapixel telephoto lens that supports 3x optical zoom and optical stabilization. The front of the phone has a 12-megapixel selfie camera.

It also features Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, with an IPX8 rating. The phone supports 25W wired charging and wireless charging.

It runs on the OneUI system based on Android 13, with improved UDC. It is expected to be released in August.

It has a larger battery capacity and supports 25W charging. There are two models available, 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB, and it runs on the Android 13 system.
