Motorola Razr 40 Ultra Folding Screen Mobile Phone Configuration Exposed: Powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 Chip

Gizcoupon reported on May 3rd that Motorola is set to launch the Razr 40 Ultra folding screen mobile phone globally. According to a new report from XDA, the phone will not be equipped with the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip but rather the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip. Its competitor, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5, is expected to launch with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip in July.

The foldable phone will feature a 120Hz (or 144Hz) 1080×2640 primary AMOLED touchscreen. In addition, the 3.5-3.6 inch external screen will have a resolution of 1056×1066.

It will come with 12GB+512GB storage. Additionally, it is also available in dual-SIM and eSIM models. It will support NFC and fingerprint recognition. It will have a rear 12MP wide-angle camera (reportedly equipped with a Sony IMX563 sensor) and a 13MP ultra-wide-angle SK Hynix Hi1336 sensor. The internal screen will have a 32MP selfie camera equipped with an OmniVision OV32B40 sensor.

The Motorola Razr 40 Ultra folding screen mobile phone will be available in black, blue, and red. It will also be equipped with a 3640mAh battery and support 33W charging. Furthermore, it is expected to run on the My UX system based on Android 13. According to previous reports by Gizcoupon, the 8GB+256GB version costs about 1,200 euros (about $1,322).
