Gizcoupon reported on April 16 that the staff of Alldocube, recently announced on Kuan(An online community app that started as an Android app store service) that they would release a new tablet called the iPlay 50 mini. The tablet will feature an 8.4-inch high-definition display with in-Cell full-lamination technology. Additionally, it has ultra-narrow borders and support for 4G network connectivity.
Aside from this, no further information has been released about the new product.
iPlay 50 mini features
Gizcoupon found out from the aforementioned Alldocube staff account that the iPlay 50 mini will also receive a system upgrade with the following specific features:
- The system will be upgraded to Android 13, which will provide a more stable and smooth user experience, and support features such as a split-screen display;
- The addition of a forced landscape mode that supports apps such as TikTok;
- The implementation of a “parallel window” function allows for a horizontal split-screen display of the same app with different levels of content. This feature supports apps such as Weibo and Xiaohongshu;
- The addition of a negative one-screen function on the desktop, providing quick access to frequently used software and popular news;
- Quick switching between system desktop, elderly care system desktop, and learning system desktop;
- Three different icon libraries are provided, including the native icon library, to meet the different preferences of users;
- The addition of virtual memory functionality. It allows part of the UFS storage space to be used as virtual memory. Moreover, it supports the addition of 4G/6G/8G of memory and provides up to 12G (4G hardware operating memory + 8G virtual memory) of memory for user use;
- The inclusion of a three-finger swipe shortcut for screen capture;
- The addition of a bottom Dock bar function;
- The inclusion of free-to-use fonts such as MiSans, OPlusSans, and Alibaba Puhui for user switching;
- More functions, such as power-saving mode, super power-saving mode, reading mode, eye protection mode, network speed display, and dark mode, are waiting for users to explore and discover.
